Greens Golf Club Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Overview

1.1. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern membership with Greens Golf Club ("the Club").

1.2. Membership grants access to an allocated number of golf events per year, based on the membership level selected. This is to include all encompassing discounts as states within the membership package & priority invites to complimentary events throughout the 12 months from start date to end date (annual) OR throughout the 12 months on a monthly/yearly rolling basis (direct debit).

1.3. Membership is personal, non-transferable, and valid for a minimum term of 12 months, unless otherwise specified.

2. Membership Categories

2.1. The Club offers multiple membership tiers. Each tier provides:

  • Access to an allocated amount of series events per year/per membership category.

  • 10% - 20% OFF Greens Apparel (in some cases 1st Order Only)

  • 20% OFF Shipsticks Discount

  • Access to 20% OFF an additional series event for member & guest (in some cases ONLY Member)

  • Agreeable non-refundable 10% donation to Movember Charity (included within membership rate)

2.2. Additional events beyond the allocated amount & provided packages as above may be booked subject to availability and will incur additional fees.

3. Fees & Payment Terms

3.1. Membership fees are payable by either:

  • Annual payment in full at the beginning of the membership term; or

  • Monthly Direct Debit for a minimum 12-month commitment

3.2. Failure to maintain Direct Debit payments will result in cancellation of membership within 30 days of failed payment. Allocations will be immediately stopped without refund for any future bookings/series events &/or pending purchases.

3.3. All fees are non-refundable except in the case of accepted extenuating circumstances (see Section 6).

4. Membership Term and Renewal

4.1. The minimum membership term is 12 consecutive months from the start date.

4.2. Memberships renew automatically each year unless cancelled in writing to (jason@greensgc.com) with at least a full calendar months notice prior to the renewal date or next monthly payment via direct debit.

4.3. Early termination is not permitted except under extenuating circumstances outlined in Section 6.

5. Event Access

5.1. Members are allocated a set number of golf event entries per year, determined by their membership tier.

5.2. Unused event allocations do not roll over to the next year, unless extenuating circumstances are communicated in writing to (jason@greensgc.com) at least 1 full calendar months notice before end of membership year OR next monthly payment via direct debit.

5.3. Event participation must be booked in advance at point of membership purchase. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis up to the amount of 40 bookings per series event.

5.4. Cancellation of a series event booking with less than a full weeks (7 days) notice may result in the event being counted against the member's allocation. Extenuating circumstances (section 6) will be considered.

5.5. Cancellation of a Series Event must be done in writing to (jason@greensgc.com) within notice period above (5.4.)

5.6. In the event of a Series Event being cancelled due to extenuating circumstance (section 6), Greens Golf Club may consider an alternative participant.

6. Extenuating Circumstances

6.1. The Club may, at its sole discretion, allow for membership suspension or early termination in the following extenuating circumstances, subject to evidence:

  • Redundancy (confirmation from employer or relevant documentation)

  • Long-term injury or illness (doctor's note required)

  • Pregnancy and postnatal recovery

  • Bereavement of a close family member

  • Military deployment

6.2. Members must submit a formal written request for suspension or termination, including supporting documentation.

6.3. If approved, the Club may:

  • Suspend the membership for a defined period

  • Offer a partial refund (pro-rata) for the unused portion

  • Waive early termination fees

7. Code of Conduct

7.1. Members are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other members and guests at all venues welcoming a Greens Series Event.

7.2. The Club reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership without refund in cases of misconduct, breach of rules or failure to pay dues.

8. Liability

8.1. The Club is not liable for loss, damage, or injury sustained on Club premises (hosting a Greens Series Event) except where due to negligence.

8.2. Members are advised to hold personal insurance for injury or loss.

9. Data Protection

9.1. The Club collects and processes member data in accordance with UK GDPR laws. A copy of the Privacy Policy is available upon request.

10. Amendments

10.1. The Club reserves the right to update these Terms. Members will be notified of material changes in writing at least 30 days in advance.

10.2. The Club reserves the right to increase/change the membership rates. Members shall be notified with a full calendar months notice, before next expected payment.

10.3. The Club reserves the right to change a venue within the golf series giving all members/guests a full calendar months notice in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
